Responsibilities

  • Perform various testing, repair, fabrication, assembly and maintenance activities.
  • Operate and make adjustments to assigned equipment and tools.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot equipment failures to determine corrective action.
  • Rebuild, fabricate and assemble new or modified components as needed.
  • Inspect all assembly parts and report defective materials.

Description

Summary of Position

This position performs various testing, repair, fabrication, assembly and maintenance activities. Duties may also include safety and quality control inspections, operating automated machinery; various power/hand tools in compliance with company policy and established safety procedures.

Essential Functions
  1. Steaming/cleaning fishing and rental tools
  2. Set-up, program operator, and prep all assigned equipment and perform full operational checks making all necessary adjustments.
  3. Rebuild equipment using standard rebuild process.
  4. Analyze and troubleshoot equipment failures to determine necessary corrective action.
  5. Fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components for products, such as industrial machine or equipment, and measuring instruments.
  6. Operate drill press, grinders, engine lathe, or other machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate parts.
  7. Inspect all assembly parts and report defective material or questionable component conditions to management.
  8. Read dials and meters to determine amperage, voltage, electrical output and input at specific operating temperature to analyze parts performance.
  9. Fabricate special fixtures needed to perform task completion.
  10. May be required to weld, cut, paint, and/or grind various raw building materials.
  11. Assist with special projects and cover for multiple positions when staffing levels are low/production or operating demands are accelerated.
  12. Observe and follow all company safety rules and policies.
  13. Assist with other duties as assigned.
