Papé Group in City of Industry, CA, is seeking a Rental Shop Technician to service and repair a wide range of material handling and construction equipment in a fully equipped shop.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs and component replacements, and contribute to uptime for customers. Two positions are available with competitive pay and strong benefits, including retirement plans, health coverage, vacation, and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Work on all makes/models of material handling and construction equipment in the shop, ensuring repairs are done accurately and timely.

• Rebuild or replace complex systems such as transmissions, masts, differentials, hydraulic components, engines, electrical systems, and/or steering mechanisms; welding and fabrication may be required.
• Collaborate with skilled technicians in a fully equipped shop to grow your career.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As our Rental Shop Technician, you will work on all makes and models of material handling and construction equipment in the shop ensuring repairs are done accurately and timely. All your hard work is geared toward supporting our customers and maximizing their uptime.

Each day, you will inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or failures, followed by executing necessary repairs or component replacements. This may include rebuilding or replacing complex systems such as transmissions, masts, differentials, hydraulic components, engines, electrical systems, and/or steering mechanisms. Additionally, welding and fabrication work may be required as part of certain repairs.

WHAT YOU NEED

• 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and assertiveness.

Compensation: $26-34/hr (Depending on Experience)
