U-Haul Shop Support Specialist in Warwick, RI offers hands-on, entry-level work supporting repair shop personnel with opportunities for advancement. No prior experience required as you learn the shop's inner workings and grow with the team.

As a Shop Support Specialist, you will dismount/balance tires, maintain batteries, keep the area clean, turn rotors, rebuild trailer components and assist shop staff. A valid driver's license is required and diverse benefits and training programs are provided.

Shop Support Specialist Primary Responsibilities:

• Use specialized equipment to dismount, balance and mount tires

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
