Job summary

Astro Pak is seeking an experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our industrial cleaning and maintenance facility. You will lead shop personnel, coordinate workflows, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and OSHA compliance while delivering high-quality service to customers.

You will supervise technicians, manage schedules, oversee receiving/shipping, perform preventive maintenance, and partner with operations, vendors, and customers to keep projects moving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading shop, manufacturing, or maintenance operations.
• Experience managing workflow, schedules, and personnel.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shop operations and assign work to technicians.

Astro Pak is looking for an experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our industrial cleaning and maintenance facility. In this role, you'll lead shop personnel, coordinate workflow, maintain equipment, ensure safety compliance, and help deliver exceptional service to our customers.

What You'll Do

• Supervise daily shop operations and assign work to technicians
• Coordinate schedules to ensure customer deadlines are met

• Maintain shop equipment, vehicles, trailers, and facility systems
• Order shop materials, chemicals, and operating supplies
• Ensure all job documentation is accurate and completed on time
• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance on shop equipment
• Lead monthly safety inspections and maintain OSHA compliance
• Maintain a clean, organized shop using 5S principles
• Support shop production by performing hands‑on work as needed
• Partner with Operations, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to keep projects moving

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience leading shop, manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance operations
• Experience managing shop workflow, schedules, equipment, and personnel
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear required PPE, including respirators when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA Certification
• HAZWOPER and/or Confined Space certifications
• Valid DOT Medical Certificate

This is a hands‑on leadership position in an industrial shop environment. You'll work around mechanical equipment, chemicals, forklifts, and industrial cleaning systems while leading a team and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

The position requires flexibility, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and occasional night shifts based on business needs.
