Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking knowledgeable, customer-focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join the Crown team. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair lift trucks and perform scheduled maintenance at customer sites, while maintaining accurate service records and ensuring safety standards.

Ideal candidates have less than 2 years related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; preferred candidates may have technical degrees and welding

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job
• Welding & fabrication

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand service manuals.
• Industry related training.
