Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation in Indiana is seeking knowledgeable customer-focused technicians to join our service team. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other lift trucks at customer sites, and perform planned maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

Minimum qualifications include less than 2 years of related experience and a high school diploma. Preferred candidates hold a technical degree and experience reading schematics, with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than 2 years related experience.
• Technical degree and lift-truck repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Valid drivers license and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
• Welding & fabrication as needed.

We are seeking knowledgeable customer focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join the Crown team.

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job
• Welding & fabrication

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand service manuals
• Industry related training.
