Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an Auto Body Shop Porter to support daily front office housekeeping, assist in the detail department, and help maintain the production area. You may drive company vehicles for errands and parts pickup, and ensure vehicles are secured and protected from weather.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills that allow you to communicate effectively with the Classic Collision team and customers.
• Ability to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping of the front office interior (garbage, floors, dusting).
• Assist in the detail department when needed.
• Maintain housekeeping of the production area including waste, floors, and tools organization.
• Drive company vehicles for shop errands and parts pickup/delivery.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat and orderly.
• Perform basic equipment and facility maintenance as required.
• Ensure cars are protected from weather and keys are secure.
• Perform other duties to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the front office, including emptying of garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting.
• Help in detail department when needed.
• Maintains the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area including daily emptying of waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted parts, assist in cleaning of spray booths, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Drive company vehicles to run shop errands or pick up parts; drive customer vehicles pick up and deliver cars.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs when necessary.
• Ensure all cars are protected from inclement weather.
• Secure all vehicles and ensure vehicle keys are separate and secure.
• Perform other duties as assigned required to successfully meet the needs of the business.
