Job summary

SpeedyConcreteCutting,Inc., a Marek Sawing & Drilling division, seeks a Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, repair, and service specialized concrete-cutting equipment and vehicles supporting field operations in Florida.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, 5+ years of equipment maintenance experience, and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, diesel, gas and electrical systems. Growth opportunities and safety-focused culture accompany this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanic experience with equipment maintenance.
• Experience in construction or related mechanical field; concrete cutting a plus.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical tasks.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow directions.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to travel locally.
• Must pass background check and drug screening; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair concrete cutting, coring, sawing and drilling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic, diesel, gas, and electrical powered equipment/vehicles.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repairs log, and parts inventory.
• Escalate issues to Branch/Operations Manager and Safety Director as needed.
• Lift and move objects up to 50 lbs; inspect PPE as required by OSHA and policy.
• Work outdoors and in confined environments; ensure safety compliance.
