We’re looking for a hands-on, highly adaptable Shop Manager to oversee daily operations at our facility. This role is ideal for a "jack-of-all-trades" who thrives on being the go-to person for everything from shop upkeep and vendor coordination to supporting project needs and field teams. As a key presence on-site, you’ll ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace while jumping in to support overflow needs across the office and yard.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall facility operations, cleanliness, and organization of the yard and shop
  • Handle maintenance scheduling and preventive tasks for equipment and building systems (HVAC, access control, etc.)
  • Support procurement efforts by sourcing and picking up items for job sites
  • Coordinate with vendors for parts and services; approve and process invoices
  • Oversee small tool tracking, equipment inventory, and yard logistics
  • Greet visitors, conduct safety orientations, and assist with site access
  • Help with light trucking coordination and rental logistics as needed
  • Maintain records, support office operations, and be the “boots on the ground” point of contact
  • Collaborate with other offices on cross-location needs and overflow work
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth day-to-day operations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5–10 years of facility or shop management experience; construction industry preferred
  • 1–3 years of team leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and cross-functionally

  • CA Pay Range: $80,000 to $115,000 annually based on experience.
