Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in New York seeks a Senior Control System Engineer to lead the design and fabrication of in‑house control panels, liaising with Sales and supporting field operations. You will design systems with AutoCAD Electrical, draft schematics, bill of materials, and specify all panel components, while programming PLCs and HMIs and testing VFDs.

UL508A compliance, Microsoft Office proficiency, and SAP familiarity are valued as you procure parts, supervise technicians, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the Design and Fabrication of Industrial Control Panels.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or comparable design experience.
• Able to design and draft small control systems using AutoCAD Electrical, including schematics, panel layouts, bill of materials, special details, etc.
• Specify all the components of the control panel.
• Program PLCs and HMIs; variable frequency drive programming and testing knowledge.
• Experienced in factory testing of controls and control panels.
• Familiar with UL508A standard for Control Panels.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Knowledge of SAP would be a plus, but is not required.

• Experienced in factory testing of controls and control panels.
