PAPE’ MACHINERY, INC. – CONSTRUCTION & FORESTRY in MT. VERNON, WA is seeking a Shop Lead to supervise the service shop and ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.

You’ll also work on construction and forestry equipment and serve as the primary contact when repair challenges arise, performing quality checks on machinery before it leaves the shop. You will mentor a team of shop technicians, using available tools and resources to deliver top-notch service while maintaining

• 3+ years of experience in a supervisor role.
• 3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of computer diagnostics.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service shop and ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Work on construction and forestry equipment as needed and assist with repairs.
• Serve as the primary contact for repair challenges and perform quality checks on outgoing equipment.
• Provide information to Customer Service Advisors and support daily mentorship of technicians.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As our Shop Lead, you will lead the service shop and ensure that all service work is completed in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. As the lead, you will also work on construction and forestry equipment as needed and serve as the primary contact when repair challenges arise as well as perform quality control checks on all equipment leaving the shop and completing check in/ check out forms on all machinery and providing Customer Service Advisors with customer check information.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 3 or more years of experience in a supervisor role preferred.
• 3 or more years of experience working on heavy equipment
• Knowledge of computer diagnostics.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Compensation: $37.92-56.89/hr (Depending on Experience)
