USA Industries, LLC (USAI) seeks a Shop Helper in South Houston, TX. This temporary manual labor position focuses on packaging and assisting production to meet daily goals in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

You will handle materials, maintain a clean and safe workspace, read basic work instructions, and work as part of a team committed to quality and reliability.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Shop Help is responsible for packaging. The position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• High School diploma or GED.

Work Experience

• Experience in industrial manufacturing and preferred.

Skills

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred
• Shipping and receiving experience are a plus
• Ability to read basic work instructions and follow directions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with shop safety practices
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50lbs (+) regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a hot, and/or dusty environment, with noisy conditions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
