Job summary

D & R Tank Company is seeking Shop Helpers to join its fast-paced production team in Albuquerque. You will be on 9-hour shifts, lifting up to 75 lbs and working around heavy equipment, while staying self-motivated and safety-conscious.

Preferred candidates have experience in laborious shop construction roles, can follow foreman directions, and are able to stand 8–12 hours. A drug-free environment and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free at all times.
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hour shifts.
• Access online safety training within first week.
• Required to wear Hard Hat and Steel Toe Boots.

Responsibilities

• Paint crews work quickly and efficiently; candidate must keep up with crew pace per foreman’s instructions.
• Stand for long shifts and perform painting duties in a shop environment.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and respect foreman’s authority.

Job Requirements:

• Must be drug-free at all times
• Respect for foreman’s authority
• Painting crews work quickly and efficiently; candidate needs to be able to keep up with crew’s pace, per foreman’s instructions
• Ability to stand for 8-12 hour shifts,
• Follow verbal procedures
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Must possess keen eyesight and hand-eye coordination.
• Must able to stoop, stand, bend and work in awkward positions to complete painting duties.
• Be able to access online safety training within first week
• Required for work: Hard Hat, Steel Toe Boots

In order to be a qualified candidate, you must also be employable in the U.S., have reliable transportation, hold a valid driver’s license & own personal work attire (long-sleeve shirt, steel-toed boots, gloves, and safety glasses).
