  • Observe automatic lubrication systems and panels, adjusting valves or flow rates to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Safely operate a front-end loader, skid steer, and water truck to support plant operations and maintain material stockpiles.
  • Drive and operate fuel/lube trucks to provide on-site fueling and service to paving crews and equipment in the field.
  • Support Mechanics and Plant Operators in performing minor mechanical or electrical repairs; assist with component replacement during plant shutdowns or outages.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the plant and shop areas, including sweeping, shoveling spilled material, and clearing debris from around conveyors and drive systems.
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-shift inspections on equipment; identify and report safety hazards or mechanical defects immediately.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding spill prevention and the proper disposal of used oils and filters.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed records of all lubrication tasks, fuel consumption, and maintenance performed on each piece of equipment.
