Job summary

C. W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman for our Pensacola, FL operations. This role will oversee shop and field mechanics, coordinate maintenance, and manage fuel/lube procurement to keep equipment ready for daily project work.

You will ensure accurate hour meter readings, prepare maintenance reports, and work with management to control shop costs while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role preferred.
• Experience coordinating maintenance and repair for equipment and vehicles.
• Ability to supervise shop and field mechanics and drive efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational equipment and vehicle maintenance.
• Direct and provide daily supervision to shop mechanic, field mechanic, fuel/lube operator and lowboy transport operator.
• Maintain upkeep and appearance of shop building and equipment yard.
• Work with field supervisors on meter readings and preventive maintenance reporting.
• Collaborate with Area Manager on shop costs, equipment hours and utilization reporting.
• Schedule and prioritize assignments and requisition materials/equipment for projects.
• Monitor fuel usage reporting and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and all applicable laws.
• Complete projects in accordance with governing regulations.
