ALTEN Technology USA is hiring an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide onsite IT support for manufacturing and shop floor operations in Kinston, North Carolina. You will be the link between shop floor users and Digital support, handling incident triage, escalation, and ServiceNow administration while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or industrial environments.
Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM best practices preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to work onsite in Kinston, NC.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite IT support across production and manufacturing areas.
Assist shop floor users with incident creation and service requests in ServiceNow.
Triage incidents and route to appropriate resolver groups.
Maintain accurate ticket documentation and status updates.
Support data cleansing and quality improvements in the ticketing system.
Identify recurring issues and propose preventive actions.
Participate in monthly operational reviews and performance reporting.
