The Shop Technician Fabricator is responsible for assembling, fabricating, and preparing fire and life safety system components for installation and service. This role supports field operations by ensuring all fabricated materials meet quality standards, job specifications, and applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble fire protection system components, including pipe, brackets, and system assemblies.
• Cut, thread, groove, and prepare piping for fire sprinkler systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Prepare materials for delivery to job sites and ensure accuracy of fabricated items.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ lbs regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

• Use of hands and arms for handling tools, materials, and operating fabrication equipment.
