BMMI - Concrete & Masonry in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Shop & Equipment Maintenance Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment, ensuring tools and vehicles are safe and ready for field work. The role requires 2+ years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.
Mechanical trade certifications are preferred, and the candidate should maintain organized logs and support the warehouse team.
The Shop & Equipment Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing all needed inspections and repairs on heavy construction equipment in a safe, effective manner to ensure that vehicles, tools and equipment are in good working order, and to handle parts inventory. This position will work on other assorted duties that are required to support field staff in the completion of construction projects as assigned, such as vehicle and tool maintenance and repair.
