White Star Machinery in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Mechanic for our busy shop to service Bobcat equipment. If you have experience with heavy equipment or are looking to move from the automotive industry, we want to talk to you!

This role involves basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on customer and dealer-owned construction equipment, with in-house training provided. Working Monday through Friday dayshift, hourly rate plus quarterly bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 year technical school graduate preferred.
• 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
• Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.
• Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality repair services on construction equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner
• Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment
• Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions
• Participates in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge
• Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs
• Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company.

Monday – Friday dayshift, Hourly Rate, plus quarterly bonus.

This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment in order to meet customer needs. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. We offer in house training.

Physical Requirements

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.

• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds

• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl

• Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
