Job summary

The Hill Group in Franklin Park, IL is seeking a Shop Assistant to handle receiving, processing, and storing inventory and to help ensure on-time delivery to construction projects. You will manage fulfillment, stock levels, and order entry, supporting smooth operations on site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide equipment, product, service & material orders.
• Picking/Pulling (Fulfillment) of equipment & material orders.
• Maintain stock inventory levels of equipment & material.
• Enter completed orders into computerized Order Management System.
• Deliver fulfilled orders of equipment & material to construction project.
• Retrieve tools & material from construction project back to warehouse.
• Inspect tools & Equipment for safe and proper operation.
• Restock shelves.
• Coordinate incoming delivery of construction goods.
• Offload incoming deliveries of construction goods.
• Enter construction goods into computerized Warehouse Management System.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Shop Assistant is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders and company procedures. They also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery of goods to construction projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and provide equipment, product, service & material orders
• Picking/Pulling (Fulfillment) of equipment & material orders
• Maintain stock inventory levels of equipment & material

Experience and Qualifications:
