Job summary

Lee Industrial Contracting, based in Pontiac, Michigan, is seeking a hands-on individual to coordinate equipment deliveries and support field and shop operations. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability in a demanding industrial environment.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical experience, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and a strong willingness to learn skilled trades while working both in yard/shop and on customer sites.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience is required.
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instruction.
• Self-directed and able to work independently.
• Desire to learn about skilled trades.
• Ability to work in both a shop and field environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform deliveries of equipment and material to customer sites.
• Assist in inspecting, fueling, and maintaining equipment, tooling, and vehicles.
• Complete employee vehicle preparation inspections.
• Organize, count, and stock inventory.
• Assist other departments in the event additional help is needed.
• Wash and clean vehicles and equipment.

Job Responsibilities

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.
• Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
• Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards
• Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.
• Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
