Job summary

Famous Footwear Sales Associate in Countryside, IL is a frontline role focused on delivering an outstanding in-store experience. You will help customers find the perfect shoes, share product knowledge, and support daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store team.
• Strong communication with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with the Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Solid knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in to keep the store running smoothly.
• Represent the Famous culture with stellar customer engagement and top-notch experiences.
• Review store performance and drive sales with purpose and urgency to hit goals.
• Communicate clearly with the entire store team and practice active listening to ensure understanding.
• Uphold integrity by following company policies and procedures.
• Foster an inclusive, positive work environment and mentor teammates as needed.
• Assist customers with finding perfect shoe fits and recommend styles to create the Famous Feeling.
