Job summary

Macy's is hiring a Shoe Expeditor in the Houston store to help the Women’s Shoe department run smoothly. You will quickly locate and stage merchandise, deliver items to selling colleagues, and keep the department clean and organized while delivering exceptional customer service.

We value sense of urgency, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Full-time colleagues typically work 30+ hours; part-time 12–24 hours per week with hours based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Self-starter able to adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
• Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
• Resourceful and responsive to changing priorities.
• Able to work a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide assistance in a friendly, professional manner.
• Conduct sales transactions and operate cash registers, handle payments, exchanges or returns.
• Pull orders from stockroom and stage for sales colleagues quickly and accurately.
• Assist in locating and pulling merchandise to fulfill digital customer orders.
• Maintain orderly and visually appealing store displays and replenishment.
• Keep stock room organized, process new/damaged items, and scan items into stock.
• Maintain accurate pricing and signage per company guidelines and update product information.
• Foster an inclusive environment and build authentic connections with colleagues and customers.
