Qualifications

• 1 year of pipe insulation experience in industrial, marine, shipbuilding or petro-chemical environments.
• Experience working with fiberglass, calcium silicate or rubber insulation materials.
• Ability to work safely in complex shipyard environments.
• Strong commitment to quality, precision and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Remove, repair, and install insulation materials including fiberglass, calcium silicate, and rubatex.
• Insulate piping systems, ventilation systems, machinery, and shipboard structures.
• Follow specifications to ensure proper installation and performance.
• Work in various shipboard environments and support production needs.
• Must be available to work any shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
