Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational background is a plus.
  • Basic math and foundational blueprint reading.
  • Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
  • 3+ years as a carpenter, joiner, or outfitter (journeyman level).
  • Shipbuilding/marine experience and strong safety orientation.
  • Comfort around heavy machinery and willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, form, and fit wood and sheet metal components from blueprints for new builds and refits.
  • Install, remove, and repair HVAC systems and fabricate ducts.
  • Read and interpret drawings, sketches, manuals, and specs to plan setups.
  • Operate hand/power tools and formation equipment; perform tack welds MIG/Arc as needed.
  • Contribute across panel line, fabrication shop, and final assembly areas.
  • Uphold safety and housekeeping; work with teammates to solve build challenges.
