Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Firewatch at Camp Pendleton, CA to support LCAC refurbishment. You will assist ship fitters, mechanics, electricians, and welders, keep workspaces organized, and help manage materials and tools in a dynamic hangar environment.

This contract-to-hire role is fully onsite, with safety gear provided. The position requires basic mechanical aptitude, hand tool proficiency, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and experience in construction and labor.
• Proficiency with hand tools and drills.
• Basic carpentry skills are required.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of general shop practices in fabrication or ship/aircraft repair environments.
• General mechanical aptitude is expected.

Responsibilities

• Pick, handle, and organize materials and tools.
• Assist ship fitters, mechanics, electricians and welders.
• Clean work and office areas as required.
