CommandTec LLC in Mobile, AL, is seeking a General Laborer (Level 1) to support shipboard operations, maintenance, and dismantlement activities. You will handle materials, load and unload equipment, and assist skilled trades personnel, working under supervision with strict safety practices.

Responsibilities include site cleanup, debris removal, and following safety protocols. Must be able to stand long hours and work in shipyard environments, with a 12-hour shift and potential physical demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred; training provided if needed.
• Training or certifications in specialized tools, scaffolding, rigging, or industrial safety preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform general cleanup, material handling, and site maintenance.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment, tools, and materials used in ship demolition.
• Assist skilled trades personnel with assigned tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Build or take apart bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures.
• Operate power tools and hand tools such as jackhammers, saws, and drills.
