Job summary

Fincantieri Marine Group in Sturgeon Bay, WI is hiring for Facilities Maintenance workers in the Facilities department. This role performs confined space inspections, general maintenance, and waterfront support across a 63-acre shipyard.

The job requires the ability to work at heights, in all weather, and with heavy equipment. You will help with ventilation systems, plumbing, electrical tasks, and seasonal/high-water preparations while upholding safety policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be a U.S. Person.
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Know basic construction materials/methods and read blueprints.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform confined space inspections and testing in designated areas.
• Carry out general maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Support with ventilation setup, plumbing, electrical work, and building systems.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including ventilation systems.
• Support waterfront, seasonal operations, and high-water prep activities.
• Maintain and store equipment; perform housekeeping and yard work.
