Job summary

Mako Industries is seeking Electrical Apprentices for a long-term shipyard project in Pascagoula, MS. The position is full-time, with an hourly rate plus per diem discussed during screening.

Work will be in a demanding, industrial environment requiring flexibility and readiness to start immediately. Typical duties include assisting electricians, bending and grooming conduit, moving materials, and maintaining safety on site.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical, construction, industrial, or shipyard experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Able to work long hours and a variable schedule.
• Comfortable working aboard a ship and in an industrial environment.
• Must be able to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with general electrical work and job-site tasks.
• Band/Bend and groom electrical conduit and materials.
• Prepare, organize, and move materials and tools.
• Assist with electrical installations as directed by the lead electrician.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company and job-site safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of an electrical crew.
