Job summary

Venture Products is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to handle loading/unloading, inventory organization, and receiving/shipping duties in our warehouse. You will pull the correct items, tag them with part numbers, and ensure shipping documents are accurate and complete.

The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and basic computer skills. This is an on-site position with standard hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; reliable and punctual.
• 1–2 years of warehouse/material handling experience incl. forklift operation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs; basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks, trailers and containers.
• Maintain and organize warehouse inventory.
• Perform receiving and shipping duties as assigned.
• Ensure correct products are pulled and tagged with part numbers.
• Prepare shipping labels and packing slips; attach to orders.
• Palletize orders as required and assist with loading into trucks.
• Verify paperwork, sign for shipments, and complete shipping documents.
• Coordinate with sales, equipment coordinator and traffic manager for shipments.

Hours: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri

Wages: $19.00 - $20.00

Shipping & Receiving Clerk's responsibilities are to load and unload trucks, trailers and containers, in addition to maintain and organize the warehouse inventory, to perform receiving and shipping duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for shipping of all materials, parts and equipment in accordance with American Augers Work Orders or Sales Orders Instructions including but not limited to:

• Insure correct products are pulled from stock and properly tag all items with AA part numbers
• Containers are in proper condition for shipping
• Shipping label and packing slip information are neat, legible and attached to each order
• Palletize orders as required
• Help load materials into trucks and containers securely and safely
• Sign trucker's paperwork when loading is complete and all materials verified as being shipped.
• Complete all shipping paper work and enter into computer.
• Final check to see that all Shipments meet the highest quality standards.
• Assisting with the coordination of shipments with sales, equipment coordinator and traffic manager
• Shipping Documentation as required, Bill of Lading, International Documentation

Responsible for Receiving of all materials, parts, containers, supplies, returned goods and equipment in accordance with American Augers Department work Instructions including but not limited to:

• Unloading Trucks and containers
• Verify count of units or items received
• Receiving goods from manufacturing, paint booth and closing work orders
• Sign trucker's paperwork when unloading is completed and all materials verified as being received.
• Forward paperwork to accounts payable and enter into the computer.
• Properly tag all items with AA part numbers
• Store or move all materials to proper warehouse locations.
• Rental or Demo returns paperwork is filled out and forward to proper departments
• Responsible to maintain and organize the warehouse and yard of parts, materials and equipment.
• Properly tag all items with AA part numbers

• Cover, protect and store items to prevent damage from the weather.
• Other duties that are deemed necessary by Management

Knowledge & Skills

Self-starter, accurate and detailed, good judgment, attitude, reasoning and dependability.

Computer skills with Microsoft programs, SAP, Shippers programs as needed.

Requirements

Requirements: High School diploma or GED equivalent; reliability and punctuality; 1-2 years of warehouse/material handling experience including forklift/powered trucks operation; ability to work on your feet and to lift up to 75 pounds; basic computer knowledge; experience with computerized tracking/inventory systems.
