Job summary

Case Farms, Inc. in Farmerville, LA is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a sub-zero freezer/warehouse production environment.

You will ensure safety procedures, set goals, and coach associates in cross-training while maintaining product integrity and timely loading of trucks. The role requires a High School Diploma, supervisory experience in food distribution, and the ability to coordinate Shipping with Production; strong communication with yard drivers and Security;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Operate a floor jack and have a basic knowledge of loading.
• Read and understand necessary reports.
• Ability to perform all the functions of the Clerk in their absence.
• Communicate instructions to the yard driver as well as Security.
• Prior supervisory experience in food distribution is helpful.
• Effective coordination between Shipping and Production.
• Possess the ability to effectively train associates for retention.

Work Environment

• Work is normally performed in a sub-zero freezer/warehouse/production environment.
• As part of the job requirements, employee will be exposed to working in a warehouse setting with cold temperature (-20) at times.
• Must be flexible with work schedule that supports a 24-hour production facility.
