Job summary

SumiRiko Ohio, Inc. in Bluffton, OH is seeking a Production Control Supervisor to plan and manage manpower, coordinate shipping and receiving, and support area operations to ensure timely production.

Production Control Regular Full-Time Bluffton, Bluffton, OH, US

To help manage and organize area activities to ensure effective and efficient processing, shipping, storage, and issuance of material throughout the manufacturing organization.

Essential Functions:

• Plan and manage manpower with S/R team leads to support shift activity and to help meet weekly SIR requirements.
• Take part in managing raw and finished good inventory, helping to ensure their accuracy.
• Work with PC, Team Leads and Clerks to ensure shipping and receiving documents are ran, pulled, and/or received properly.
• Provide support and guidance to the Team Leaders to help develop their skills as front line managers.
• Work with other department supervisors to make sure Team Leaders communicate any outages with each other to help minimize any downtime for Manufacturing.
• Help train all S/R Team Leaders and associates on the value of being a support group and having the necessary skills, attitude and awareness needed to ensure Manufacturing's success for all us.

Other job functions will include:

• The supervisor will be required to learn the Clerk positions, Shipping and Receiving, to help ensure any job outage can be covered correctly.
• The supervisor will be required to be trained and certified on all PIT's used in the department to make sure they understand the equipment being used by their associates.
• The supervisor will be required to work with the area Manager and Team Leaders to keep all area documentation updated and accurate.
• The supervisor will be required to manage vacation requests from the Team Leaders and Clerks, as well as managing the Team Leaders timecards.

Minimum Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication Skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a timely manner. Ability to prioritize work requests. Flexibility when it comes to their work schedule. Being able to work efficiently in Microsoft Word & Éxcel.
