Job summary

AltimateMedical designs and manufactures innovative medical equipment in rehabilitation. The Shipping Specialist ensures products leave the facility accurately, efficiently, and on time, supporting a great customer experience daily.

Summary of role includes final inspections, packaging per procedures, data entry on tablets, and using PaceJet with proper labeling. Maintains safety and quality standards and supports a respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow prints, read and interpret documents; use material/equipment properly.
• Monitors own work to ensure quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
• Knowledgeable on use of common hand tools.
• Knowledgeable on use of computers (AMI will provide internal system training)

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection of AMI products per inspection checklists.
• Package AMI products per internal training and work instructions.
• Follow quality procedures applicable.
• Responsible for entering proper information on tablets including but not limited to (time, quantity, serial number, etc.).
• Responsible for entering the proper information into the PaceJet shipping system and attaching the proper labels to the packaging.
• Notify Quality Assurance if any product or material is nonconforming.
• Notify Inventory Control of any inventory shortages (i.e. packaging materials, parts, etc.).
• Update internal reprocessed items log for items found during inspection.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Understands and adheres to Quality & Compliance policies and procedures.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment where/when necessary.
• Contributes to a respectful, non-hostile, non-violent work environment.
• Understands the purpose, value, and impact work has on product customers and users.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Shipping Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products leave our facility accurately, efficiently, and on time—helping deliver a great experience to our customers every day.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to withstand moderate levels of noise.
• Ability to twist, turn, bend, reach, push, and pull.
• Ability to lift product and other items, up to 60 pounds. Requests assistance with lifting and moving products as needed.

Summary

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.25 to $22.62 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus and profit-sharing opportunities tied to performance.
