Job summary

Light & Wonder in Nevada seeks a Shipping Specialist to coordinate game shipments across departments including Tear Down, Marketing, Production and Manufacturing. You will scan products, locate, stage and move inbound and outbound shipments, while maintaining accurate inventory records and verifying documents.

Applicants should have 1-2 years shipping or warehouse experience; forklift and inventory experience are a plus. The role involves standing/walking in a warehouse and overtime as needed.

Position Summary

The individual in this position will work under the supervision of the Supervisor and will conduct activities in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards. Shipping specialist ensures coordination of materials between various departments such as Tear Down, Marketing, Production, Manufacturing and other departments to support successful and expedient product shipments and deliveries. Shipping specialist will scan product, locate, stage and check inventory and assist in the timely movement of inbound and outbound shipments. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to maintaining inventory records, verification of quantities received against bills of lading and shipping documents, visual inspections, counts and the movement of games, signs and other parts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years shipping/ general warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Inventory experience a plus

Skills And Abilities

• Computer literate, experience in MS Office applications and Oracle a plus
• Material movement experience using pallet jacks, dolly and forklifts.
• Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing games, signs and parts.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the warehouse for extended periods of time.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures at times during winter and summer.
• Overtime work could be involved and will be required as needed.
