Job summary

ETS Staffing is seeking a Shipping Specialist for a manufacturer of ceramic and refractory components in Village of Menands, NY. This in-person, first-shift role pays $18/hour and is full-time.

You will pack orders, prepare shipping paperwork, and load shipments using a forklift or pallet jack. Maintain a clean, safe workspace and meet quality standards. Training for forklift certification is available, with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong basic math for simple tasks.
• Read and write in English; follow instructions.
• Willingness to obtain internal forklift certification.

A manufacturer serving industrial markets with precision ceramic and refractory components. They are seeking a Shipping Specialist to join their team.

Your day-to-day as a Shipping Specialist:

• Pack ceramic products for shipment according to specifications and quality standards
• Complete order and shipping paperwork for each packed order
• Load trucks and containers using a forklift or pallet jack
• Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the shift

Your skills and experience:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted and stand for extended periods
• Basic math skills for simple arithmetic tasks
• Ability to read and write in English and follow work instructions
• Willingness to learn forklift operation and obtain internal certification
