Job summary

Wastequip is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist in Wendover Hills, NC. The role involves moving product by forklift or hand dolly from assembly to shipping, ensuring timely completion of orders, and maintaining precise inventory records.

Responsibilities include labeling, staging, pack verification, and loading for LTL shipments. The position requires 1st shift hours, strong safety practices, and the ability to work with ERP systems and scales.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or obtainable onsite.
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Strong forklift skills with safety focus.
• Experience using electronic scales and basic computer systems.
• Experience in inventory control and shipping workflows.

Responsibilities

• Transport products and components from production to shipping/receiving.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts in storage racks.
• Prepare move tickets and packing lists for management.
• Stage boxes at machine centers and wrap shipments as directed.
• Label and stock products correctly per 5S standards.
• Notify management of potential stock-outs and shortages.
• Prepare bills of lading and shipping paperwork.
• Record transactions in ERP system and assist with LTL loads.

Job Description:The Shipping/Receiving Specialist duties can include but is not limited to transporting all product and component materials by forklift, hand dolly, or by-hand from assembly area to shipping and receiving and ensures that all shipping orders are completed in a timely manner.1st shift: Monday to Friday: 7:00AM to 3:30PM.Pay rate: $20.15.Responsibilities:Uses daily production schedule to identify product and have working knowledge of product in production in order to facilitate shipping & receiving of finished products or components.Maintain accurate inventory counts for all products located in the storage racks.Maintain accurate move ticket/packing list to provide to management, inventory counts for all products located in warehouse storage area.Stage boxes at machine centers as required.Stage product shipments in designated areas and stretch wrap as required/directed. After completion of production order, all remaining raw material is transported, weighed and recorded.Ensure all product is labeled and put in stock in its correct stocking location, per 5S standards. Ensure all product quantities are correct and accurate.Advise of potential stock-outs when supplies are low. Maintain good housekeeping in work area and wherever work is performed.Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.Pack and verify hardware for shipment.Fill out accessory check-off sheet.Check that product is of good quality and produced in accordance with the sales order.Verify lid and body count as required.Prepare bills of lading and any other required shipping paperwork.Confirm all transactions in and out of inventory are captured via the ERP System.Assist in loading products on trailers (by rolling or using a forklift) and preparing Less than Truck Load-LTL shipments.Maintains shipping area per 5(S) Standards. Wear all required Personal Protection Equipment.
