Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Tech at the Trumann Warehouse to receive, store, and distribute materials and products on the factory floor. You will read schedules, prepare orders, and move items to storage, packing, or shipping areas while ensuring accurate labeling and stock integrity.

You will work in a fast-paced environment on a day shift, using ERP systems and MS Office to track shipments, maintain safety standards, and support production lines as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates warehouse equipment and uses ERP/MS Office to track inventory.
• Ensures accurate counts and records shortages to purchasing.

It does not include all aspects of the position such as the potential additional duties assigned by supervisors and the requirement for flexibility in helping others for the company's overall benefit.Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties within the shipping and receiving departments.**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.* Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.* Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.* Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.* Fills customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.* Marks materials with identifying information.* Opens bales, crates, and other containers.* Responds to requests from assembly line with needed materials, if materials are not available, the time of arrival of materials.* Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.* Reports shortages to purchasing or fabrication.* Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
