Job summary

Grimco is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee shipping/receiving operations, train and coach staff, and partner with management on staffing and performance. You will ensure accurate shipping, inventory control, and timely transfer of materials while maintaining safety and quality standards across the warehouse.

The role calls for leadership, organizational skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement in a fast-paced sign industry environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of recent shipping supervisor experience.
• Knowledge of WMS, printing ticket orders, MS office suite, email, internet navigation.
• Strong leadership skills, must be able to develop talent within the team
• Be willing to complete a criminal background check.
• Strong work ethic – dedicated to getting the job done.

Job Description

Immediate opening. Full-time employment status. This position requires an 8-hour workday, Monday-Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm (day shift). Additional hours and/or days based on demand. Hours are not flexible – schedule is set.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Requires the ability to lift, push, pull and carry tools and warehouse materials weighing up to 65 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Requires prolonged standing or walking, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching daily.
• Requires the ability to climb ladders to pick or put away products.
• Requires a full range of physical motion to operate manual and electrically powered tools and machines (i.e., forklift).
