Job summary

Burnham Commercial in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Attendant for a full-time, union-hourly role. You will manage stockroom items, handle UPS shipments, and prepare goods for shipment.

The ideal candidate has shipping/receiving and inventory experience; a high school diploma or GED; and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Hours are 6 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with Saturdays as needed. This position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Prior shipping, receiving, and inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and prepare parts from stock and pack for production or storage.
• Prepare sub-assemblies of electronics for boilers as required.
• Prepare bulk material for shipment to vendors and bond for shipment.
• Maintain inventory of all items in the storeroom.
• Pack for UPS using scales and coordinate with shipping.
• Communicate with Material Control to keep storeroom inventory accurate.
• Keep storeroom safe and orderly; rotate stock as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
