Ranew's Companies is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Specialist for our Waterloo, IA location. This role oversees shipping/receiving, records management, and inventory control, ensuring proper packaging methods and accurate documentation. The position is full-time, 1st shift, in Waterloo, IA.

Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, organizing stock, scheduling shipments, and maintaining files. Forklift/pallet jack operation is required, with safety and environmental compliance

Qualifications

• Obtain product orders, receive deliveries, register and distribute packages and parts within the company.
• Maintain stock by organizing, cleaning and cataloging items regularly.
• Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure storage space for incoming items and staff.
• Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing shipping/receiving reports.
• Adhere to environmental management and systems.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints to resolve them.
• Place merchandise in warehouse or storage by packaging and operating forklifts/pallet jacks.

Now Hiring - Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Ranew's Companies is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team in Waterloo, IA.

A Shipping & Receiving Specialist oversees and keeps records of all shipping and receiving. More specifically, they are responsible for organizing, sorting, and transferring goods from one location to another. They monitor company packages from the start to finish, ensuring proper packaging techniques and shipping practices. Shipping clerks also update inventory records and collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries, receiving shipments and signing paperwork upon receipt.

Location: Waterloo, IA

Salary: $15 - $21 / hour (starting pay is based on experience and shift)
