Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Technician to handle daily packing, labeling, and loading of goods.

You will read PMI's, JSA's, and schedules to complete production tasks and ensure shipments go out on time. You will also maintain accurate inventory, operate forklift and related equipment, and use Microsoft Outlook, Oracle, and Wavefront to track orders and shipments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow work instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Ability to operate fork lift, electric hoist, scales, and label machines.
• Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to wear a respirator.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and use PMI’s, JSA’s, and schedules to complete daily production tasks.
• Support and participate in safety initiatives and policies as needed.
• Ensure customer shipments are filled on time and in correct quantities per PO requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by performing basic math and keeping workspace organized.
• Operate shipping/receiving processes in systems like Outlook, Oracle, and Wavefront.
