Job summary

Urban Farmer is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage inbound and outbound warehouse activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely shipments. You will support inventory accuracy and production continuity by maintaining system discipline and audit-ready records.

The role requires forklift experience, ERP/WMS familiarity, and strict adherence to GMP, Food Safety, and OSHA standards. Team collaboration and precise handling of materials are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Experience using ERP or WMS systems and handheld scanners preferred.
• Working knowledge of FIFO, lot control, and basic traceability requirements.
• Familiarity with GMP, Food Safety, and OSHA standards.
• At least one year experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklift in hot/cold environments.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify quantities, documentation, and product condition.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stage, and verify outbound shipments with correct SKU, lot, and quantity.
• Generate and verify shipping docs like BOLs and packing lists.
• Coordinate with carriers for dock assignments and loading times.
• Load trailers safely and ensure proper load securement.
• Confirm shipments in ERP/WMS and maintain accurate records.
