Job summary

Greenfield-Product seeks a Warehouse Associate to support warehousing, inventory control, receiving, and shipping operations, ensuring accurate product identification and traceability. You will storage and handle materials safely, participate in cycle counts, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include inspecting incoming materials, adhering to ISO9001 and hazardous waste guidelines, maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and communicating with internal teams,

  • Requires knowledge of Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Cycle counting, Packaging, and Logistics; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • With minimal supervision, completes Warehousing, Inventory Control, Receiving, Shipping, Product Identification and traceability, and proper material handling and storage tasks.
  • Assist with Inventory Cycle Count Program.
  • Completes tasks required of the In-coming materials inspection program.
  • Uses continuous improvement program.
  • Required to initiate Engineering Change Requests to improve quality, reduce cycle times and/or to correct nonconformities.
  • Required to comply with requirements for Hazardous waste Management.
  • Maintains all aspects of workplace organization with goal of providing safe and suitable work environment for Broderson employees.
  • Performs other job tasks as requested.
  • Ensures Compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
  • Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate individuals (internal and external).
  • Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all Company policies to eliminate and/or reduce exposure to liability.
  • Special projects or work as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • May assist in managing the Equipment Maintenance Program
  • May participant in the Plant Safety Program
  • Aids other departments, as needed.
  • Will be required to participate in Small Group Improvement Activity Teams, daily Team Meetings and Team Exercise sessions.
  • Required to identify opportunities for improvements and submit in accordance with Continuous Improvement Program.

Qualifications Guidelines
Experience/Training/Education

Required: High School graduate, or equivalent.

Desired: Vocational training in Inventory Management, Logistics, or material processing.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Requires knowledge of Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Cycle counting, Packaging, and Logistics; requires attention to detail. Ability to recognize all colors in a normal spectrum; thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable operating and documentation procedures and material flow. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products and other data systems; Ability to meet deadlines; to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; Ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; ability to accept constructive criticism; ability to prioritize, organize, solve problems, and complete tasks independently; ability to lead, supervise and train others; ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with subordinates, members of management, vendors, and other employees.

Physical and Environmental Elements

This is a production classification and employees work in a factory environment with exposure to noise and machinery. Accurate hand/eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull. Work involves considerable standing, stooping, bending, or sitting for long periods of time. May lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
