Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Forklift power lifting equipment experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, aerospace/autos/ startup preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (PLEX, Oracle, SAP) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate outbound material movements from warehouse and production to customers and suppliers.
  • Coordinate inbound material movements from receipt to warehousing.
  • Collaborate with production to provide materials across locations.
  • Perform day-to-day operations including use of powerlifting equipment.
  • Receive inbound parts and record quantities in ERP system.
  • Validate inbound quality documents against check sheets.
  • Assist in counting physical inventory and cycle counts.
  • Pick, pack, and schedule shipments; decant for production.
  • Inbound inspection of parts, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory management processes and standard work documentation.

BETA is seeking a motivated and process-oriented Shipping and Receiving Material Coordinator to join our growing team. The primary focus of this role is to manage the inbound and outbound flow of inventory and materials in and out of warehousing and production environments. The role will have a major responsibility to focus on supporting activities across all areas of inventory, warehousing, and logistics, at multiple locations. An ideal candidate for this role is very organized and has experience in receiving material into a business, logistics, inventory, and material movement best practices.

How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:

  • Coordinate outbound material movements from warehouse and production environments to external customers and suppliers
  • Coordinate inbound material movements from receipt to warehousing
  • Collaborate with the production team in multiple areas to provide materials
  • Perform day-to-day operations which include the use of powerlifting equipment
  • Receiving inbound parts/supplies and recording quantities of materials to the ERP system
  • Validating inbound quality documents against check sheets
  • Assist in counting physical inventory
  • Picking, packing, and scheduling shipments
  • Decanting parts and assemblies for production
  • Inbound inspection of parts, materials, and equipment
  • Inventory management activities, including cycle counting
  • Creation of process standard work documentation and training team members on their contents
  • Ability to work between multiple locations if needed
  • Use of structured problem solving to identify the root cause of operational issues in order to develop corrective actions
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, sweeping, dusting, and mopping

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Forklift power lifting equipment experience
  • Previous work in a manufacturing environment with experience in aerospace, automotive, or a startup preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle setbacks, and find solutions to challenging problems
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, & demanding environment
  • Ability to use judgment to make decisionsStrong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, but function as a team player
  • Experience with ERP systems (PLEX, Oracle, SAP etc)
  • Familiarity with MS Office

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment using OSHA required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and lift 75 pounds

The wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role. We pay competitively and base compensation on a variety of factors including skills, experience, industry background, and the evolving needs of the role. Compensation

$26 - $31 USD
