Cryopak in Edison, NJ is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Manager - Bilingual (English/Spanish) to lead our warehouse operations and ensure timely loading, receiving, and packing. You will supervise staff, coordinate truck shipments, prepare packing slips, and uphold safety and quality standards while mentoring the team.

Requirements include 2-5 years supervisory shipping/receiving, bilingual, MS Office, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a High School diploma.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years supervisory experience in shipping/receiving.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
• Strong verbal and math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs daily.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of recordkeeping practices and basic arithmetic.
• Skilled in operating handheld measurement devices.
• Ability to work with coworkers and manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping/receiving staff and assign workload.

Overview & Key Responsibilities:

The Shipping and Receiving Manager leads and directs shipping activities such as shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing of raw materials, loading and unloading of trucks with raw materials or finished goods. Ensures products are stored and delivered according to customer requirements.

• Supervise staff, including prioritizing and assigning work, and monitoring the quality and quantity of the work performed.
• Responsible for following the daily schedule, coordinating truck shipment and messenger services and creating packing slips and bill of lading.
• Ensures daily completion of incoming paperwork, inspection and confirmation of certifications (as required) and reconciliation of receiving and purchasing documentation.
• Determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
• Ensure efficient warehouse operations in product storage, picking, packing and inventory transactions.
• Responsible for accuracy, security and loss management of all warehouse assets.
• Oversee Shipping and Receiving Associates, including serving as mentor regarding professional development and when situations arise that affect employee's job performance.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

• 2-5 years previous supervisory experience in shipping/receiving
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Strong verbal and math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs daily
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Knowledge of recordkeeping practices and basic arithmetic
