Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk at our Camas, WA facility. You will verify shipments, prepare outgoing orders, and receive deliveries using our warehouse systems. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement to keep operations smooth.

Responsibilities include document management, labeling and packing, staging, dock preparation, and inventory control. Strong attention to detail and basic Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum six months in a warehouse or distribution environment required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel required.
• Attention to detail and quality required.
• Ability to multitask in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Document management: manage the preparation, creation, retrieval, validation, and storage of documents necessary to support the operation.
• Labels, packs, and loads items for shipment according to specifications.
• Stage shipments for shipping.
• Accept shipments and prepare docks for receiving.
• Operates stretch wrap banders and prepares pallets and crates for shipping.
• Unloads delivery vehicles and moves items to appropriate area.
• Maintains records of all items received and shipped via warehouse management and inventory systems.
• Checks receipts against purchase orders for proper shipment, shortages, damages, or defects.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Keeps the work area and equipment clean and orderly; follows safety regulations.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• If CGMP environment, monitor inventory requirements: FIFO, Lot, Age.
• May assist with inventory cycle counts.
• Other duties as assigned.
