Job summary

5th Axis Inc. is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to ensure accurate and timely movement of materials through our manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, handle documentation, ERP systems, and operate forklifts, while coordinating with Production, Planning, and Warehouse teams to support on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience shipping and receiving in manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environment.
• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of shipping processes, documentation, and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and system records.
• Package, label, and prepare outgoing materials and products for shipment.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments accurately and on time.
• Count, weigh, and measure parts and materials to verify shipment accuracy.
• Prepare and complete shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and related records.
• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and tracking records.
