Groomer’s Choice is seeking a working lead in Las Vegas to manage shipping and receiving while performing essential duties. You will verify received materials, route items, and prepare shipments to optimize cost and service. You’ll help maintain smooth warehouse operations when management is offsite.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, forklift operation, and a commitment to safety. This position offers a $1,500 hiring bonus and full-time, non-exempt employment in a hands-on team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Rotates throughout the day to support the daily operation from receiving to shipping.
• Pick, pack, and process orders.
• Ensure proper procedures and safe equipment operations are followed.
• Ensure all incoming goods are properly put away in correct bin locations.
• Receive and unload incoming goods.
• Work closely with Warehouse Manager to ensure that job requirements are satisfactorily met.
• Looks for continuous improvements in both productivity and quality.
• Capitalize on opportunities with urgency, commitment and responsiveness while supporting the customer and company needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Additional duties, responsibilities and special projects may be assigned from time to time.
• Key and alarm code holder.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is a working lead who will not only lead but also perform a wide range of shipping and receiving tasks as needed. Verifies materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate departments/locations. Prepares items for shipment ensuring cost effective courier services. Ensures the warehouse runs smoothly when management is offsite.
