Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to support inventory intake, verification, and order fulfillment at our Hamilton, OH location. You will process incoming materials and prepare outgoing shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify inventory, transferring items to correct locations.

• Serve as a resource to teammates and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
• Communicate priorities to the Area Manager and flag issues promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Receives, verifies, and records incoming materials and supplies and performs a variety of routine clerical duties to support Warehouse operations. Prepares and processes outgoing truckload, LTL, and overnight shipments; ensures all items ship to the proper location, according to established schedules.

Essential Job Functions *

• Verifies and accurately receive and transfer inventory to the appropriate warehouse locations.
• Responsible for loading palletized products, completing shipping documents and adheres to directed transportation methods (Manifest).
• Maintains records of clerical duties including, but not limited to: daily invoicing of customer orders, product receipts, and outbound UPS and LTL shipments.
• Serves as a resource for team members and showcases “role model” habits related to safety, communication, teamwork, and cleanliness.
• Communicates with Area Manager to determine priorities, observes work-in-progress, and advises Area Manager of issues
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Shipping/Receiving: Fast-paced, standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Physical Demands

Shipping/Receiving: Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 200 lbs.
