Job summary

Randa Corp in Sparks, NV is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Handler to support the inbound and outbound movement of products within the distribution center. You will unload trailers, scan and verify cartons, palletize, label, and help load shipments while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

The shift runs Mon-Fri 5:00am-1:30pm with overtime as needed, at $19 per hour. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and prior warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload product and cartons from inbound trailers and inspect for accuracy and damage.
• Scan, verify, sort, and stage inbound and outbound cartons according to requirements.
• Palletize, organize, and stage product for storage or shipment.
• Pull cartons and pallets for outbound shipments following procedures.
• Wrap pallets and label items per customer requirements.
• Re-tape damaged cartons and correct labels to ensure shipment quality.
• Load outbound freight efficiently to maximize trailer utilization.
• Scan and load freight onto trailers and verify quantities with carriers.
• Report shipment discrepancies, damaged product, inventory variances, or safety concerns.
• Complete work orders and shipping/receiving tasks accurately within productivity standards.
• Assist and collaborate with temporary staff during peak periods with safety compliance.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate operational needs with supervisors and team.
• Cross-train and provide support in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education
